Privacy policy
August 29, 2026
This policy covers the Shearlane website at https://shearlane.com. When the Shearlane product launches, a separate product privacy notice and data processing agreement will apply to shop and client data.
Who is responsible
WiseRock, [ADDRESS], registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 93580126, is the controller for personal data collected on this website. Contact: [CONTACT_EMAIL].
What we collect, and why
Forms (early access, demo, contact). When you submit a form we store what you enter: email address, name, shop name, city, country, number of chairs, the tool you use today, phone number (demo form), your message (contact form), plus your interface language, the campaign parameters your visit carried (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), and the country your request came from. We use this to respond to you, to set up your early access, and, only if you ticked the box, to send you product updates. Legal bases: taking steps at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and consent for marketing email (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw with one click in any email.
Analytics. We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics tool that collects aggregate page statistics without personal identifiers and without tracking you across sites.
Marketing pixels. The Meta Pixel and Google tag load only if you choose "Allow all" in the cookie bar. Until then, they do not load at all. See the cookie policy for details.
Where your data lives
Form submissions are stored with Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, eu-central-1). The website is served by Vercel. Where a processor transfers data outside the EEA, standard contractual clauses apply.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept until your early access is converted into a product account, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Marketing consent lasts until you withdraw it.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [CONTACT_EMAIL]. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
No automated decisions
We don’t profile you and no automated decision-making is applied to website data.
Changes
We’ll update this page when the practice changes, and date every version.
